No accounts, so almost nothing about you is collected at all
Grund has no login, no signup, no user accounts. There is no email address, password, or personal profile to create, so there's nothing of that kind for this policy to describe.
Your garden data stays on your device
Everything you create in Grund (views, plots, plant locations, uploaded photos) is stored locally in your own browser (using IndexedDB) and is never sent to or stored on our servers. We have no access to it. If you use the export feature to save a file, or import a file on another device, that transfer happens directly between your browser and your own file system; it doesn't pass through our servers either.
Because this data lives only in your browser, it can be lost if you clear your browsing data, switch browsers, use a private/incognito window, or in some cases due to your mobile browser's own storage limits. We have no way to recover it if that happens. See our FAQ for more on this.
What we do collect: aggregate usage analytics

If you submit a bug report or a roadmap suggestion, we collect only what you choose to include in that submission. We use it solely to follow up on or act on your submission.
Data retention
Because Grund has no accounts and doesn't store your garden data, there is essentially nothing of yours retained on our servers to begin with. Aggregate analytics data (above) is retained only in aggregate form, not tied to any individual.
