What's next

This is the real list of what I'm considering building next. None of it is required for Grund to work today, so I'd rather let votes decide the order than guess. Vote for whatever would actually help you; one vote per item, no account needed.

  • Satellite image base layer

Automatically pull aerial imagery for your address instead of uploading your own photo, so tracing your garden to scale is even easier.

  • Multi-season layout comparison

See your own past seasons side by side, so you can compare what worked and what didn't, year over year.

  • Orchard canopy defaults from catalogue

When you mark a tree, have its typical mature canopy size filled in automatically from the plant catalogue instead of guessing.

  • View status flag

Mark a garden view as active, planned, or archived, so you can sketch out a future bed without it cluttering your current layout.

  • Hosted persistence for standalone Grund

An optional hosted backup for your garden data, for anyone who wants a safety net beyond exporting files themselves.

Have something else in mind?

The list above isn't the whole story. If there's something you'd actually want, tell me. I read every suggestion myself, and if it makes sense I'll add it to the list above for others to vote on too.

One idea is plenty. I'll follow up here on the roadmap if it goes anywhere.
